Free Soul In The Pirate World

Chapter 6: Dragon Claw

"Crack!" came a sound.

White Ghost looked at the great treasure sword in his hand with a difficult expression, thinking, "No way?"

Shanks's gaze also turned over.

"Crack!" The great treasure sword broke directly. Seeing the great treasure sword break into three pieces, White Ghost roared in his heart.

Shanks's lips curved into a smile: "Your sword is broken. It seems today's battle doesn't need to continue."

Most of the pirate crew on the ship cheered. If a swordsman had no sword, didn't that mean their Captain won!

Only Yasopp, Benn Beckman, Lucky Roux, and a few others remained silent, their expressions unreadable.

On the Marine side, they also saw the sword in White Ghost's hand break, and they all panicked.

White Ghost looked at the hilt of the great treasure sword in his hand: "So it's not a Great Grade sword after all? It took a direct hit from Red Hair's famous sword with Flowing Sakura Haki, and finally couldn't bear it."

"End?"

White Ghost said, inserting the hilt to one side: "Red Hair, you wouldn't really think that I only use a sword, would you?

Using a sword, I just think it's very cool and enduring, to cut out sword energy and directly cut a pirate ship in half, isn't that very beautiful and cool?"

"What do you mean?" Shanks frowned, and at the same time saw that White Ghost's hands were shaped into claws, ready for an attacking stance.

"What do I mean? Heh heh, you'll know very soon."

White Ghost raised his head, looking at him with red eyes:

"Dragon Claw Fist!"

"~Soru"

White Ghost quickly approached Shanks, his hands covered in Haki, his right claw grabbing towards Red Hair:

"Mighty Miracle Claw."

Shanks raised his sword to block.

"Bang!" Instantly, Shanks felt that the guy's strength was even greater than before, and his speed was faster.

"This guy's physical combat is so strong!"

"Hahahaha, Shanks, let's continue." White Ghost quickly swung his Dragon Claw hands, attacking Red Hair with both left and right, his figure moving even faster than before.

"This guy wasn't wrong, his physical combat is stronger!"

Shanks dodged White Ghost's Dragon Claw hands, glanced at the crowd on the ship, and thought he had to finish the fight quickly. He couldn't keep fighting this madman.

"Still got time to look around? How much do you underestimate me?" White Ghost forcefully parried Red Hair's sword, and a claw grabbed towards Red Hair.

"Oh no!" Shanks hurriedly retreated to dodge, but it was too late.

"Got you, Shanks!"

"Dragon's Breath." Armament Haki externalized, plus the rotating impact of the Dragon Claw, directly sent Red Hair flying.

Shanks flew backward, hurriedly covering his back with Haki.

"Bang!" The stone instantly shattered into pieces.

"Shanks!" Seeing Shanks get hit, Uta was filled with worry.

Beckman and the others also became serious. That guy's physical combat was much higher than his swordsmanship; Shanks was suppressed.

Yasopp raised his gun, aiming at White Ghost, but Benn Beckman stopped him.

"Don't rush. Before entering the Grand Line, let Shanks have a good fight. Maybe he can even increase his combat power."

"Alright." Yasopp put down his gun.

"Bastard." Red Hair picked up his sword and stood up, charging towards White Ghost again.

Seeing Red Hair coming again, White Ghost, with red eyes, met him.

The two quickly exchanged blows. White Ghost's claw was dodged by Red Hair, and the ground instantly shattered into a large pit.

Red Hair swung his sword back, White Ghost sidestepped to avoid the blade, and the box behind him was directly cut in half.

White Ghost laughed loudly: "Hahaha, this is exhilarating! Continue!"

"Clang clang clang!" Either a pit exploded here, or stones or boxes were cut in half there.

No one noticed that several people were standing on the nearby rooftop.

Among them, a person wearing a green cloak looked at the two fighting below: "I didn't expect you to grow to this extent, heh heh."

Next to him, a big-headed person with wide, Kasilan-like eyes asked: "Dragon, do you know that Marine baby?"

"Know him? Not really." Dragon said.

"Oh, how so?" The gender-neutral person tilted their head.

Dragon spoke calmly: "I met him when Roger was executed. At that time, I felt he was a very interesting little guy. We chatted for a couple of sentences, and I casually gave him my cultivation notes."

"Oh! Dragon, your 'casually' is really generous! Dragon Claw Fist, that's your signature technique!" That person blinked their big eyes, looking incredulous.

"Don't say anymore, Ivankov, let's continue watching." Dragon looked at the battle below.

"Heh heh, how stingy, Dragon."

Below, White Ghost became more and more excited as he fought. Just a little more, Sakura Flow, just a little more, he was touching that threshold.

"Dragon Claw, Mighty Vajra Kick." Saying that, he kicked towards Shanks's waist.

When Shanks heard "Dragon Claw," his attention subconsciously focused entirely on White Ghost's hands.

But he suddenly realized something was wrong. This bastard's hands were just making symbolic gestures.

The next moment, Shanks felt a sharp pain in his waist, and he flew sideways, crashing heavily onto the ground.

"Despicable!" Shanks gritted his teeth, looking at White Ghost in front of him.

"Hahahaha, in battle, isn't any move permissible? Am I supposed to do whatever I say? Don't forget my nickname, Marine Thug, hahaha."

The people on the pirate ship also started cursing loudly, "Despicable, no martial ethics!" They opened their mouths and cursed incessantly.

Dragon, Ivankov, and the Marines all twitched their mouths.

In the corner, a person with a camera was frantically taking pictures, muttering to himself:

"Big news, big news!"

It was a reporter from the World Economic News Agency: "I must send this to the boss: 'Thuggish Marine VS Evil Pirate!' This title will definitely sell big, yo ho ho."

Ignoring the shouts of the crowd, White Ghost continued to charge at Shanks. It was just a little bit more, that feeling was getting closer.

Shanks also gritted his teeth, continuing to entangle with him.

Dragon narrowed his eyes: "He's trying to comprehend Sakura Flow through combat!"

Ivankov's big mouth opened wide: "What a crazy boy, hee-haw!"

Shanks also saw it: "As expected of a madman, comprehending through the damage I inflict!"

White Ghost's lips curved upward: "Thanks for the compliment, so, keep increasing the intensity, Shanks."

"As you wish." Shanks parried White Ghost's claw,

"Kami Haki" he slashed at White Ghost.

"Haha, Dragon Claw, Mighty Grab."

"Bang!"

White Ghost firmly gripped the blade, frantically comprehending the Flowing Sakura Haki that was hitting him from Red Hair.

"Haa!" As both of them exerted force simultaneously, large deep pits directly exploded in the surroundings.

"Boom!" Finally, White Ghost couldn't hold on and retreated, leaving two lines on the ground with his feet.

"Phew, phew," The two looked at each other, but Shanks's expression became increasingly grim.

White Ghost, on the other hand, became more and more excited. So that's how it is.

To make Haki flow like water, as natural as breathing, and then, through contact, infuse it into the enemy's interior?

"Hah!" As he thought, he put it into practice. Shanks's eyes widened as he watched the Haki slowly flowing around White Ghost's hands.

Dragon was a little surprised: "He's comprehended it!"

"What a genius boy!" Ivankov opened his Kasilan-like eyes wide.

White Ghost looked at his opponent with a savage expression, "Come on, Shanks, this is the last move."

"Come on!" Shanks said, tightening his grip on his sword.

"Dragon Claw, Mighty Vajra Claw!" White Ghost's hands were covered in Flowing Sakura Haki as he charged at Red Hair.

Red Hair also gripped the sword in his hand: "Kami Haki!"

With a "bang," the two attacked each other, but the sword and claw did not touch, remaining a small distance apart.

Both sides simultaneously released Conqueror's Haki to clash.

"Rumble, rumble," earth and stones flew, and strong winds raged. Some Marines and pirates with weaker constitutions directly fainted, their eyes rolling back.

Dragon, Ivankov, Benn Beckman, Yasopp, and Lucky Roux all stared wide-eyed, fixedly watching the battlefield.

"Hee hee hee ha ha, Shanks, are you out of strength?" White Ghost said, increasing the force in his hands again.

"Cough, madman!" Shanks also increased his force.

Black lightning faintly appeared around the two, encircling them.

"Their attacks didn't even touch!"

Beckman's expression was horrified: "Indeed, they are truly formidable individuals."

"Boom!" A loud sound came from the sky, and everyone looked up.

"The sky is splitting!"

They only saw the clouds in the sky splitting into two, rumbling loudly.

"How strong are these two, exactly?" a group of frightened subordinates shouted.

"Big news, big news!" The reporter from the World Economic News Agency photographed the sky, then the two stalemated opponents, shouting excitedly.

"Haa, you're running out of steam, Shanks."

After White Ghost finished speaking, his left hand directly parried Red Hair's sword, and his right hand grabbed towards Shanks's face.

Shanks's eyes widened. At this moment, it was too late to dodge.

Instantly, he felt a sharp pain on his face, and he flew backward towards the ship.

"Haa!" With a strike to Shanks's left cheek, he was directly sent flying. White Ghost gasped for air, supporting himself with the last bit of his strength.

"Shanks!" The people on the pirate ship frantically caught Red Hair as he flew back.

"Sail quickly, get out of here!" Beckman shouted loudly.

"Hahahaha, Shanks, let's fight again next time. This time was very satisfying and exhilarating, hahaha!"

Red Hair also got up with the help of his crew, looking at White Ghost on the shore with a bitter expression: "You are very strong. I will become stronger for our next fight. I hope you don't die next time."

White Ghost grinned: "Shanks, that's what I want to tell you too. Don't die on the Grand Line. I will definitely defeat you next time."

"Hmph, what big talk!" Shanks touched the wound on his face, grinning as he looked at White Ghost.

The two just stared at each other as the ship gradually moved away.
