Interstellar Immortality: Live long enough to dominate the universe

Chapter 1242: War of Seven Dimensions

It seemed to have returned to peace.

Chris looked around.

The light had vanished, and the cabin was dark again, but the three people in the distance were bright. Jia An was still sobbing; after all, everything had happened in an instant.

Thinking that they might have reached seven dimensions, Chris no longer had the idea of escaping, and he headed towards the three of them to meet up.

He asked, "Where is Lu Li'an?"

The three shook their heads, all indicating they didn't know.

Chris called out a few times into the darkness but received no response.

He had a vague, bad premonition, but he didn't know what exactly had happened.

If this alien Civilization intended to deal with them, why would it only take Lu Li'an?

Amidst his surprise, the entire warship suddenly trembled, not as if it were under attack, but as if something within the warship itself had activated.

"Look!"

One person lay on the ground, shouting at Chris and the other two.

Chris saw him burying his head in the ground, which felt very strange.

He didn't move at first, but the other two mimicked him, stuffing their heads into the ground, and they actually got them in.

Chris was skeptical. He touched the ground and felt that with a little more force, he could sink into it. He stared at the floor, feeling it transform from a flat surface into a constantly rotating pattern. Staring for too long made him feel dizzy, so he quickly closed his eyes.

When he opened them again after a long time, he still couldn't go back.

He touched the ground again, feeling its texture had changed. He even felt as if he was about to fall.

The crying Jia An pulled her head out in shock.

"Is this a seven dimensions war?"

Chris asked her what she had seen.

"Didn't you look? Are you very wary of this?"

"This is six dimensions, completely different from our Three-Dimensional. What you think is a wall might not be a wall at all. You might even think we're inside the cabin, but we might actually just be on the surface of the warship."

She didn't know they had already arrived in seven dimensions!

Chris looked at the abyss-like ground and finally buried his head in it.

He saw the Starry Sky.

Indeed, he had come outside the warship, as if he had poked his head out from within the warship.

Nearby, a fragment, estimated to be larger than a continent on a planet, flew past, instantly left behind.

Immediately following, a kaleidoscope-like explosion erupted in his eyes. This dazzling light lasted less than half a second before turning into pure light and heat, scorching everything. Fortunately, he was wearing a mecha; otherwise, his head would probably be roasted by now.

At this moment, he noticed the heads of the others, all looking in another direction.

He followed their gaze; it was a giant structure existing in the distance.

If Chris were to describe that thing, Chris would say it was like fire.

There was nothing else to describe it besides fire.

Like restless plasma dancing, it enveloped hundreds of Stars, constantly absorbing their energy as its fuel.

The vastness of this giant structure was something Chris had never even dreamed of.

100 astronomical units?

1000 astronomical units?

In short, it was too large, so large that those Stars within it were as tiny as Mars.

And at this moment, an incredibly huge wound also appeared on that giant structure, seemingly blasted open by the warship they were on.

The fiery giant structure was also frantically repairing the wound, but the wound was too large, and it simply couldn't keep up.

"Something is approaching!"

Chris saw dense masses of things flying towards the warship he was on.

When they got closer, he could clearly see that those small dots were warships.

Since there were no reference objects, he didn't know the true size of those warships, only that there were too many of them, like ants.

The warships looked like a crescent moon with a missing piece; only the tip of the iceberg was exposed on the surface, with even more volume in the darkness. Whether it was the four-dimensional, or the fifth, sixth, or seven dimensions, Chris was unsure.

When their position shifted slightly, the crescent shape transformed into a long, willow-leaf shape, which was another side of these warships.

For them, as Three-Dimensional beings, they had no idea what was happening with such a change.

However, they wouldn't have to worry about it for long.

The warship beneath them trembled again.

Immediately after, the dense mass of possibly millions or tens of millions of warships in the distance vanished.

They disappeared without a trace!

"Is this the war of a top Civilization?"

Chris understood what Jia An's exclamation was about.

In this kind of war, if you don't know what weapons were used and don't have analytical equipment, ordinary people wouldn't understand it.

For example, whether those vanished warships were merely hidden or instantly annihilated, Chris could only guess.

Suddenly, Chris's eyes lit up again; he was attacked, but it was blocked.

Then he felt a powerful pulling force and looked to see a black hole, possibly only tens of thousands of kilometers away.

He broke out in a cold sweat. Before he could pull his head back, the black hole changed.

It seemed to be grabbed by something, then torn, and the black hole's boundary constantly twisted and deformed, then shattered, releasing terrifying energy instantly. This energy was then rapidly constrained, continuously collapsing towards the center, forming a high-density sphere, possibly even close to a black hole.

The sphere was launched outwards, disappearing from view. Immediately after, the distant, flame-like giant structure suddenly swayed, and nearly 20 Stars within it all exploded.

"What happened?" Chris didn't understand; he just looked bewildered.

Just as he was about to continue watching, his body was suddenly touched by someone.
