Chapter 1249: White Vortex, Little White.
Chris didn't know why, but he wasn't surprised by it.
When Little White's feathers appeared, he had already guessed that Little White wouldn't be simple.
The Paper-man, however, seemed to have no information about Little White. He furiously activated the warship's authority he controlled, and immense pressure bore down on the chubby figure there.
This time, it was no longer on the scale of hundreds of billions of tons, but hundreds of trillions of tons.
Even a Star could be pushed by such an enormous force.
The explosion over there was also compressed, all of it becoming like paper pasted to the ground.
But the white figure seemed completely oblivious, continuing its destruction without pause.
"I didn't expect you to be a servant of the White Vortex!"
The Paper-man was in a very bad mood. He seemed to have known all along that he couldn't suppress Little White.
"White Vortex!?"
A huge wave surged in Chris's heart.
He naturally didn't know what a White Vortex was, but that didn't stop him from discerning the Paper-man's tone.
Firstly, he knew the White Vortex, and secondly, he thought the White Vortex was powerful, as a matter of course.
Something that even a sub-top Civilization, or possibly a top Civilization's creature, considered powerful as a matter of course, was naturally in the same league.
Little White came from a top Civilization!
It was just unknown whether it was a creation or an intelligent creature within that Civilization.
It was no wonder Chris had doubts, as Little White's intelligence didn't seem to reach the level of an intelligent creature.
"I was also forced into this, and I don't even know what a White Vortex is. Do you know?" Chris saw that the Paper-man's attitude seemed to soften, so he asked.
Unexpectedly, the other party actually explained seriously.
"The White Vortex was born from the Free Civilization. This is a six dimensions top Civilization that was once one of the dominant Civilizations in the Milky Way. However, this Civilization was too free."
"So free that it had no restrictions on anything, including some forbidden research."
"An experimental subject in a laboratory leaked out, turning all the creatures of the Free Civilization into White Vortexes. These are a group of forbidden monsters. Although they are just creatures, each individual is incredibly powerful, comparable to a top Civilization's super warship."
"The name White Vortex is derived from your Human Civilization's white hole. Black holes devour everything, while white holes eject everything. The White Vortex is just like that. For some unknown reason, they can draw an endless supply of energy from certain places."
This was a terrifying creature.
And Chris felt that Little White at this moment had a tyrannical feeling, completely different from before.
The Paper-man saw through Chris's confusion.
"You're thinking, why does the White Vortex feel so docile in front of you?"
"That's because you're too weak. The White Vortex is such a creature; it will treat all weaklings as its servants, and when it encounters a strong one, it will regard them as an enemy and attack."
Chris saw the White Vortex in the distance spew out terrifying energy, directly sweeping away all matter within dozens of kilometers. Everything was vaporized by the energy it ejected.
The data from the mecha showed that the temperature there was actually hundreds of millions of degrees Celsius.
Yet, the White Vortex showed no change within it; not even a single hair on its body curled.
It was a bit terrifying.
"This is not the true power of the White Vortex. A true White Vortex is Star-sized. We even have footage of a White Vortex swallowing a Star whole."
The Paper-man felt Chris was a bit of a bumpkin, inexperienced.
Chris conceded.
"Don't you think what you're saying is too far removed from science?"
The Paper-man shook his head.
"Top Civilizations have already touched upon the basics of space studies, and gravity studies have already reached the level of advanced application. You don't still believe that physical laws are unchangeable, do you?"
Chris was silent; he was just an ordinary person and hadn't considered these things.
To be honest, he wasn't even quite sure how a top Civilization was defined.
What exactly did a top Civilization mean? Even Ella and Yan Xia weren't clear about this question, let alone him.
"Last question, why are you explaining all this to me?"
"You don't want to kill me?"
"Those are two questions, but it's fine. I can answer both."
"I'm explaining to you simply because I'm a chatterbox."
He actually admitted it!
"Second question, of course I want to kill you, but I can't kill you right now."
"A life recognized as a servant by the White Vortex will be instinctively protected by it. If I kill you, then the White Vortex will also become serious."
In other words, the White Vortex would directly destroy this warship.
"Also, the White Vortex will only listen to its servant, and I still need you to make the White Vortex stop playing."
Playing?
Looking at the wildly destructive White Vortex, Chris fell silent again.
"Why 'servant'? Your description makes it sound more like a master."
The Paper-man smiled.
"That's just because it's still interested in you."
He said pityingly, "Once it finds you boring, it will eat you, or swat you to death."
