One Piece: The Fourth Plague Of Beasts? I Am The Moon Demon!

Chapter 2: The Fourth Plague

Under immense pressure, Ruun's mastery over the Julan power within him grew steadily.

His power began to condense and extend according to his will.

He brought his four arms together in front of him, palms facing each other.

Clatter!

A large section of hard black rock in front of Ruun was forcibly torn from the ground.

Countless gravel and clods of earth seemed to be caught in an invisible vortex, gathering in front of him into a sphere of astonishing density.

“Go!” Ruun pushed with all four palms.

The rock sphere immediately shot towards Kaido at an incredible speed!

A hint of surprise and admiration flashed in Kaido’s eyes; with a slight flick of his wrist, the heavy hassaikai, surprisingly, struck the sphere with a deft, light touch, shattering it into countless gravel.

But to his surprise, the impact generated far exceeded his estimation.

Even more troublesome, the scattered gravel did not fly in all directions but seemed to become high-speed, miniature meteors, forming a dense “star dust storm” that once again swirled towards him!

Although unable to break his defense, the dense impact and vision-obscuring effect forced Kaido to swing his club to block, momentarily halting his offensive.

“Uo ro ro ro, that move wasn’t bad!” Kaido waved away the smoke and dust, his gaze on Ruun growing increasingly satisfied.

“It’s not over yet, take this!”

Ruun pushed the surging power within him to its limit, concentrating it between his palms, and a solid energy point suddenly formed.

“Lunar Eclipse: Collapse!”

The energy point shot out silently, aimed directly at Kaido.

Though its speed was slow, it carried a terrifying suction, as if to devour all surrounding light and matter.

Wherever it passed, the ground was ploughed by an invisible force, and gravel were involuntarily drawn in, only to be instantly crushed into powder by the powerful gravitational field as they drew near.

Facing this attack, Kaido was not startled but delighted, a wildly unrestrained smile spreading across his face: “Ororororo! Now this is exciting!”

His arm muscles bulged, Armament Haki instantly covered his entire body, and even his club was wrapped in dark red lightning.

“Roaring Thunder Bagua!!!”

Kaido roared, unleashing a full-power strike imbued with Conqueror's Haki, without reservation, at the incoming energy point!

The moment the two terrifying forces met, time seemed to stand still.

Immediately after, a spherical force field, distorting light, erupted violently at the point of collision.

The earth shattered in layers as if struck by a heavy blow.

Smoke and gravel failed to rise; instead, they were confined to the collapse area by the expanding gravitational field, forming a rotating, sinking vortex.

A silent shockwave swept through, mercilessly leveling the ground.

Half of the island's terrain was altered, leaving a massive crater.

Lynn, having foreseen this, had already flown to the sea surface far away.

“Hiss... what a guy!” Steadying himself, he smacked his lips, then simply folded his arms and hovered over the sea, watching with keen interest as a spectator.

As expected of the head of the Eight Great Devils capable of ruling the world, could his half-baked Julan power truly contend with a Four Emperors?

Wait... Ruun subconsciously looked down at his hands—they were no longer deep blue skin and claws, but human hands.

Huh? He could change back?

It seems he wasn't soul-transmigrated into Julan himself; he'd gotten incredibly lucky, picking up a Julan power for free!

That transformed state just now... hmm, it felt similar to how Zoan-type Devil Fruit users in One Piece switch forms!

Shouldn't he, when in Rome, give this ability a resounding and down-to-earth name?

Hmm... let's call it Zoan-type, Human-Human Fruit, Mythical Zoan, Tsukuyomi Form! Perfect!

A moment later, the energy of Lunar Eclipse: Collapse was depleted, and the gravitational field it caused also dissipated.

“That was exhilarating!!”

Kaido shook his slightly numb arm.

Clearly, taking that blow head-on was not entirely effortless for him either.

He cast his gaze towards Ruun, who was drifting in the distance, his eyes gleaming with undisguised approval,

“Kid, I’m really growing fond of you!”

Ruun landed lightly nearby, grinning as he said,

“Kaido Boss, let’s stop here, shall we? If we keep fighting, I’m afraid I’ll fall apart.”

Kaido didn't care about Ruun's little thoughts; it was enough that he had enjoyed the fight.

Then, a flame cloud formed out of thin air, hovering steadily at his feet.

“Come on up! The position of the Fourth Calamity of the Beasts Pirates is yours!”

Ruun grinned when he heard that, revealing a mouthful of white teeth: “Fourth Calamity? Thanks, Kaido Boss!”

He glanced at the scorching cloud but shook his head decisively,

“However, I’ll fly myself.”

With that, Ruun’s body floated slightly upwards, and he simply hovered in the air.

“Oh? You can fly without transforming? Interesting!”

Saying this, Kaido also transformed into a hundred-meter Azure Dragon and soared into the sky.

His massive dragon claws rested on the flame cloud, his winding dragon body obscured a small patch of sky, majestic as a god descended, and a terrifying oppressive sensation swept in all directions.

Compared to him, Ruun beside him was as tiny as a speck of dust by the dragon's claw.

However, as the Azure Dragon that Kaido had transformed into began to ride the clouds and mist, flying towards the distance, Ruun merely willed it, and his figure, like a streak of light, effortlessly matched the Azure Dragon's speed, even slightly surpassing it.

On their way to Wano Country, the two chatted.

“Human-Human Fruit, Tsukuyomi Form? The name is quite imposing. However, I haven’t heard of it, and it’s not in the Devil Fruit encyclopedia.”

“Ha, maybe it’s because too few people have eaten it? Or…”

Ruun hovered in the air, his hands clasped behind his head, his posture as relaxed as if he were lying on a beach chair,

“Am I the first person to eat this Devil Fruit?”

“Hmm…” Kaido’s massive dragon head nodded, but he didn't delve deeper.

The sea was vast and boundless, Devil Fruit abilities were bizarre and varied; an unrecorded Mythical Zoan occasionally appearing, though rare, was not entirely impossible.

“Your ability is very similar to the Gravity-Gravity Fruit, but it’s much more comprehensive.”

Ruun chuckled, offering no response.

How could a mere Devil Fruit compare to the power of a true devil?

The flight didn't last too long.

Soon, a peculiar sight entered Ruun’s vision.

Below was no longer the vast sea, but an island surrounded by immense, circular cliffs.

The cliffs soared into the clouds, like natural, giant city walls, closely guarding the world within.

At the only entrance through the cliffs stood a magnificent vermilion torii gate, like a portal to another realm.

Within the cliffs, the terrain undulated with layers of mountains, and waterfalls cascaded like silver ribbons from high places, feeding into winding rivers.

The riverbanks were dotted with large expanses of pink flowering trees, appearing like mist and rosy clouds from afar.

Further in the distance, the outlines of cities built against the mountains were faintly visible, with black-eaved, white-walled buildings arranged in neat rows, their style ancient and unique.

“Hoh!” Ruun couldn’t help but exclaim, his eyes sparkling,

“This is Wano Country? The scenery is like a painting!”

He pointed at the dreamlike pink sea of flowers and the magnificent waterfalls below, “Kaido Boss, look at those flowers, those waterfalls, and that architectural style... tsk, truly captivating!”

The giant dragon head tilted slightly, glancing at the scenery below that he had seen hundreds, if not thousands, of times, and two hot white breaths puffed from his nostrils:

“Hmm? What’s so good about this? I see it every day; I’m sick of it. Isn’t it just a few trees, some water, and a bunch of broken houses?”

Ruun: “…”

His mouth twitched, and he silently complained inwardly:

‘A steel-straight dragon! Such a poetic place becomes broken houses in your eyes? No wonder you drink alone every day! Your aesthetic is as hardcore as your club!’

Kaido clearly had no interest in admiring the scenery of the “defeated subordinate’s” country; he shifted his dragon body and accelerated, diving towards Onigashima.

Ruun quickly composed himself, activated his power, and followed closely behind.
