Traveling Through The Heavens, I Am The Avada Sword Master

Chapter 78: A special gift for Harry

Upon entering Hogwarts Castle, Chen Yu, pulling his own suitcase and Hermione's, headed into the Gryffindor common room.

After they put their luggage in their respective dorms, Chen Yu waited in the common room for a while, and once Hermione emerged, they went to the Great Hall together to enjoy a sumptuous dinner.

As soon as they arrived at the Great Hall, they saw Harry, Ron, Neville, and Seamus already enjoying dinner in the dining hall.

Now that Hermione no longer considered house points so important, her relationship with her roommates had softened considerably.

Seeing her roommates also dining, Hermione parted ways with Chen Yu.

"Harry, Ron, how was your holiday?"

Chen Yu greeted Harry and Ron first, then sat beside Ron, and began to fork a piece of roasted meat into his mouth, chewing with gusto.

Operating five self-answering quills for homework on the Hogwarts Express had been a dual test of mental and physical endurance, and Chen Yu was famished.

After several months of acquaintance, everyone was used to Chen Yu's eating habits, so they were not surprised.

Harry glanced around, and finding no other house students paying attention, whispered to Chen Yu, "This Christmas was fantastic! I received an invisibility cloak for Christmas. Like your magical item, the Serpent Spell, it's a magical tool that can make its wielder invisible. Ron and I think this gift must be from Professor Dumbledore, because the handwriting on the note left inside the invisibility cloak looks very much like Professor Dumbledore's writing."

"And when I was out at night using the invisibility cloak, I discovered a very grand and magical mirror called the Mirror of Erised. It can reflect a person's deepest desires. In the mirror, I saw my parents and family, and Ron saw himself as the Head Boy, holding the Quidditch Cup."

"Later, I found out that the mirror was placed there by Professor Dumbledore, but unfortunately, Professor Dumbledore was afraid I would become engrossed in it, so he moved the magic mirror and hid it elsewhere. Otherwise, I would have wanted you to look into the mirror too, to see what it would show you."

An invisibility cloak and the Mirror of Erised?

It seemed Professor Dumbledore had already begun Harry's trials.

Harry continued to mutter, "I know Professor Dumbledore is doing this for my own good, afraid I'd become obsessed and not let me sink into illusory dreams, so I haven't actively sought out that magical mirror lately."

"But Harry has been having nightmares recently," Ron interjected softly. "He says he dreams of his mom and dad being hit by a sudden green light and disappearing in front of him, and he hears an evil laugh in his mind."

Ron added in a low voice, "I think Professor Dumbledore was right; that magic mirror has the power to drive people mad. I only looked into it once, and it had no effect, but Harry looked into it for a long time. He might have been cursed by that magic mirror."

"It's not as serious as Ron makes it sound," Harry continued. "I think if I were truly cursed, Professor Dumbledore would have noticed it at the time. I just think I was slightly affected by that magic mirror, and staying away from it should make me slowly get better."

"What about you, Ron? How was your holiday?" Chen Yu asked Ron.

Ron spread ketchup on his bread, took a bite, and said, "Me? Same as every year. Mom gave me a dark red sweater, Hermione gave me a box of Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Beans, and you gave me a pile of snacks. I receive pretty much the same things every year."

"Although Christmas has passed, how about I give you something special?"

Chen Yu mysteriously said to Ron.

Ron's eyes immediately lit up when he heard there was another gift: "What is it?"

"This!"

Chen Yu pulled out a Jaeger-LeCoultre brand watch from his backpack and handed it to Ron.

This was a Jaeger-LeCoultre tourbillon dual-time zone wristwatch, which Chen Yu had 'borrowed' from Tony's laboratory.

With its silver-grey appearance, it combined elegance and sporty style, while unreservedly showcasing its noble and luxurious watchmaking heritage.

Ron knew it was a good item as soon as he saw the watch.

He couldn't wait to start playing with it.

"This watch is so cool! Look at the color, the mechanical texture. I can't believe a Muggle could make something like this. My dad, Arthur, always wanted such a cool watch. He'd be so envious if he knew I received a gift like this."

Ron played with it in his hand for a while, then returned it to Chen Yu: "But I can't take this. It looks too expensive, and I don't have anything of equal value to give you."

Chen Yu shook his head, did not take it, but instead pulled out another luxury watch and said to Ron, "It's fine. If your father likes it, I can give him one too. This Christmas holiday, I discovered I have a distant relative living in America. His name is Tony Stark, and he's a super-rich guy. These watches were all sent by him. Unfortunately, as soon as these watches arrived at Hogwarts Castle, their hands stopped moving."

"A rich relative?" Ron took the watch and played with it for a while longer, a look of reluctance on his face: "He must be a Muggle, right? Hogwarts Castle has many spells cast on it; the more intricate a Muggle item is, the less it can be used in the castle. Actually, solving it is simple: just modify the Muggle item to give it magic."

Chen Yu nodded, agreeing with Ron's statement: "Tony is indeed a Muggle who can't do magic, but he's an inventor who has invented many products and is doing well in America. You know, some Muggles are always interested in magical items, and my Muggle relative is no exception. He wants three suitcases enchanted with the Undetectable Extension Charm, preferably with a large interior space, but regular store-bought suitcases can't meet his requirements."

"I remember your father, Arthur Weasley, is interested in Muggle technology and can modify Muggle items to imbue them with magical effects. So I wanted to ask if Mr. Arthur could help make three suitcases with the Undetectable Extension Charm added?"

Hearing Chen Yu's request, Ron pondered for a moment, then asked Chen Yu, "How much space does your Muggle relative want in the suitcase?"

"The request isn't excessive; a space the size of a house inside the suitcase will do. Oh, and this is a deposit."

Chen Yu secretly slipped a gold bar to Ron under the table.

Chen Yu had exchanged this at the bank before returning, and not much was exchanged.

After all, it wasn't August yet in Iron Man's world, and the financial crisis hadn't erupted, so exchanging gold now wasn't worth it.

Chen Yu planned to wait until the financial crisis erupted in Iron Man's world, then prepare to emulate the Chinese aunties of Wall Street and buy up Wall Street's gold reserves.

Ron looked down and was immediately shocked.

Although a Galleon was not gold, gold still held considerable value in the wizarding world. It was an expensive alchemical material in itself, otherwise, the highest pursuit of Alchemy would not have been to turn stone into gold.

"You put this away first. After we get back to the dorm, I'll write to Dad and ask if he's willing to take the job."

Ron was clearly swayed by the power of money. He kept his voice very low, afraid of being overheard.

After all, making suitcases with an Undetectable Extension Charm without the Ministry of Magic's permission was an illegal act.

And his father just happened to work in the Ministry of Magic's Misuse of Muggle Artefacts Office.

Such an illegal matter naturally could not be publicized.

Ron felt he had eaten enough and pulled Chen Yu's arm, preparing to return to the dorm to write to his father to see if he was interested.

Seeing Ron and Chen Yu leave, Harry felt he had also eaten enough, so he got up and followed them.

Once they reached the dormitory, Ron began to write to his father.

Chen Yu directly threw a gold bar and two luxury watches onto Ron's bed.

Then he mysteriously said to Harry, "Come, Harry, let me show you a treasure..."

Saying that, he handed Harry the child-sized Desert Eagle pistol that he had Tony make.

Harry, who was drinking water because he felt a bit thirsty from eating too much bread in the Great Hall, saw the item Chen Yu pulled out and immediately spat out his water.

Before entering Hogwarts, Harry had lived with his aunt and uncle and had seen the item in Chen Yu's hand on television. He knew what it was used for.

Precisely because he knew, Harry's voice was tinged with shock as he spoke: "This is also from your Muggle relative?"

Chen Yu nodded.
