Traveling Through The Heavens, I Am The Avada Sword Master

Chapter 85: Sneaky Hagrid

Hogwarts School does not practice “happy education.”

Or rather, for these wizards, the happy education theory proposed by Muggle Spencer was simply not worth mentioning.

The feast after the Quidditch match became the last day of revelry for the first-year Little Wizards.

The curriculum had entered its final sprint, and the huge amount of homework assigned by the professors every day made the Little Wizards miserable.

And after the Quidditch match, Wood, as usual, urged everyone to continue Quidditch training whenever they had free time and “good weather.”

But almost none of the Quidditch players, overwhelmed by homework, responded to his call.

Everyone was very busy, and Harry was no exception.

However, to support Professor Quirrell against Snape, no matter how busy he was, Harry would run to Professor Quirrell every day to give him a big smile, hoping he could last longer under Snape’s “clutches.”

Harry’s actions left Professor Quirrell somewhat bewildered, even making him wonder if Harry had hit his head and become stupid.

Ron was the same, agitated by the heavy workload.

He even complained privately multiple times, saying he finally understood why there were rumors at Hogwarts that older students would brew or buy euphoriants themselves to maintain emotional stability.

This was all forced by the overwhelming homework.

Now Ron particularly envied Chen Yu’s skill of controlling five automatic answering quills with his magic at once.

After trying it himself, let alone controlling five, even controlling one automatic answering quill sometimes resulted in various scribbles that wouldn't obey.

Hermione was still as diligent as ever, even more so than before.

Or rather, the strong learning atmosphere at Hogwarts had completely ignited Hermione’s interest in learning.

Even during the Easter holiday, Hermione was still studying hard.

With Hermione constantly reciting Potion Class knowledge next to them, Harry and Ron felt uncomfortable even trying to rest.

This was the influence of a ‘King of Volumes’ (someone who works excessively hard).

However, what was fortunate was that Hermione did not use her limited free time to push Harry and Ron to study.

Because Chen Yu said that he had recently passed a mental trial and obtained basic new-system magic books from a place called “Kamar-Taj,” which attracted Hermione’s attention.

Especially after Chen Yu used a sling ring to perform a cool and flashy Raggadorr Rings, which is a magic shield in the palm, Hermione completely believed that Chen Yu had obtained a magical heritage completely different from Hogwarts.

She thought it was an Eastern-style spell, so she borrowed a few basic magic books from Kamar-Taj from Chen Yu to read in her spare time.

Perhaps for Hermione, reading was a form of rest.

And seeing Chen Yu use a sling ring to cast a cool magic shield, Harry and Ron actually wanted to learn it too.

But they hadn't even mastered the Hogwarts magic system, and these new-system magic books seemed incredibly brain-taxing to them; they couldn't last even ten minutes.

Especially with so much homework, there was no way to learn a new magic system.

Chen Yu actually also felt that the Hogwarts professors assigned a bit too much homework.

Even with his cheating ability to write homework with five quills at once, he still felt mentally exhausted.

This greatly slowed down his progress in learning the Dimensional Mirror and Images of Ikonn spells.

To cope with the professors' homework, the four of them recently spent most of their time either in the common room doing homework or in the Library looking for books related to their assignments.

Thanks to the professors of various subjects, the once deserted Library now had a bit of popularity.

It's just that Madam Irma Pince, the librarian, seemed a bit unhappy; with more Little Wizards, she had to patrol frequently, warn those Little Wizards not studying in the Library, and throw out the mischievous ones.

“Waaah, I’ve had enough!”

That day, Ron finally couldn't take it anymore; he slammed his quill onto the table and then frantically pulled at his hair to vent his dissatisfaction.

Chen Yu, who was flipping through a magic book from Kamar-Taj introducing Images of Ikonn, looked up at Ron's reaction and sighed.

It was quite remarkable that he had endured until now before venting his frustration.

Ron saw Madam Pince’s sharp gaze sweep over, and the anger in his heart immediately cooled; he lowered his voice and said to his companions: “I’ve had enough of this boring homework! Let’s go find Hagrid! Even just a walk would be good, or a stroll around the edge of the Forbidden Forest. I’ve had enough of days and nights of researching and doing homework in the Library. Can’t we go out and relax a bit?”

In the last Potion Class class, Snape said before dismissal that the next class would cover knowledge about “Dittany,” requiring Little Wizards to preview it, and stated that in the next class, he would randomly pick a few lucky Little Wizards to stand up and answer questions, deducting points for incorrect answers.

Undoubtedly, Harry felt he would definitely be one of those randomly selected Little Wizards.

But he didn't feel lucky at all.

Harry was carefully reading “One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi,” looking for information about “Dittany.”

Hearing Ron’s grumbling, his brain hadn’t reacted yet; he vaguely adjusted his glasses, which were about to slip off his nose, and with a wandering gaze, he uttered, “Huh?”

It was a response to Ron’s grumbling.

Speaking of Hagrid, here he came.

After adjusting his glasses, Harry saw Hagrid, wearing his signature moleskin overcoat and beaver-fur boots, slightly stooping, his eyes constantly darting around, leaning against a bookshelf, his behavior somewhat furtive.

It seemed Hagrid didn't want anyone to discover his presence.

But Hagrid’s height was indeed unsuitable for stealth; his tall figure was completely exposed to the gaze of the Little Wizards, appearing somewhat comical.

Harry, feeling invigorated, waved at Hagrid and softly called his name.

“Hagrid, what are you doing in the Library?”

Hagrid's behavior piqued Harry's curiosity; in his memory, Hagrid was not a person who liked to read, and he rarely came to the Library.

To be precise, this was the first time Harry and the others had seen Hagrid in the Library.

Chen Yu also poked his head out, observing Hagrid’s awkward movements, guessing he was probably looking for books related to dragons.

Hagrid shuffled over, his gaze wandering as he said, “Just looking around.”

Then, seeing the large stacks of books in front of Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Chen Yu, he asked somewhat suspiciously, “What are you doing here? Are you still looking for Nicolas Flamel?”

Ron smoothed his messy hair and proudly told Hagrid, “We figured out who Nicolas Flamel was centuries ago, and we also know what your dog is guarding—it’s the Philosopher's Stone—”

Hagrid quickly put his hand to his mouth, telling Ron to stop: “Shush—”

Looking around and seeing that no one was paying attention to them, Hagrid then mysteriously told everyone, “Remember, come find me at the hut later. Also, I didn’t promise to tell you anything, and don’t shout here. Some things I can’t tell you, otherwise they’ll definitely think I told you…”

With that, Hagrid shuffled away again.

“Did you see that? He just hid something under his moleskin overcoat.” Hermione said thoughtfully, “Do you think it might be related to the Philosopher's Stone?”

Chen Yu shook his head: “I’m not sure, but I saw him hide a few books under his moleskin overcoat.”

“I’ll go look!” Ron became interested; he had long been tired of reading. “Let’s see what books Hagrid hid!”

A moment later, Ron returned, heavily dropping a large pile of books onto the table.

“Dragons!” Ron whispered, “The spot where Hagrid was standing was full of books about dragons, all these materials are about them!”

Chen Yu looked at the books Ron had brought and placed on the table: “Dragon Species of Britain and Ireland,” “A Guide to Dragon-Keeping,” “From Egg to Phoenix.”

It seemed Hagrid was really preparing to raise a dragon.
