Having pets is troublesome, having large pets is very troublesome, and raising a dragon that has grown to the size of a yak is even more a hair-raising experience.
That's no longer just troublesome, but extremely dangerous.
Only someone with Chen Yu's excellent physique could handle the little dragon's difficult nature.
"Main body, I'm sick of looking after this damn dragon! This little dragon is too much trouble!"
"Let's not even talk about its mischievous antics. Just its droppings alone are incredibly foul. I can't possibly wear a Bubblehead Charm all the time, can I? And you told me to store them, saying you were going to make fertilizer!"
"Moreover, Norbert currently has no sense of hygiene. It even eats while it defecates, and sometimes it's curious about its own droppings."
"You don't know the scene now; it's utterly disgusting!"
"Damn it, next time someone else can look after this little dragon. I'm definitely not doing it again!"
Over two weeks had passed since Norbert was acquired from Hagrid. To look after this little dragon, Chen Yu specifically created a clone, assigning him the sole responsibility of caring for it.
He also went to Tony to ask for help in manufacturing a metal timed feeder, to make feeding easier for the clone.
He thought it was foolproof, but as soon as he entered the Serenitea Pot, he heard his clone complaining.
Before Chen Yu could say anything, the clone disappeared with a string of curses, leaving behind only: "Whoever wants this damn world can have it; I'm not coming back even if you kill me!"
After the clone disappeared, the memories of the past few days instantly flooded Chen Yu's mind.
Chen Yu saw in his mind how the little dragon had lived over the past ten-plus days.
After waking up, the little dragon, seeing itself in an unfamiliar environment, was initially wary. Then, finding no apparent danger, it began to run wild.
Luofu Island currently had no magical creatures, only ordinary animals Chen Yu had brought back from Tony's world, and none of them were fierce beasts.
The little dragon entered the Serenitea Pot like Tian Boguang entering the Grand View Garden, chasing the other small animals until they scattered in chaos.
Just chasing these small animals was nothing, but its violent nature made it want to bite anything new it saw.
Chasing small animals was not the only thing; it also found the large yard he used specifically for raising chickens.
The two thousand chickens he kept in the Serenitea Pot were truly unlucky.
Although they were originally the little dragon's stored food, the little dragon had almost completely wreaked havoc on them in one day.
The little dragon either ate or played.
The startled roosters and hens ran and defecated at the same time.
The entire yard became filled with a foul stench, and blood covered the entire courtyard.
It looked like an ancient slaughterhouse, and even a slaughterhouse would be cleaner.
It also intended to harm the automatic feeder, which was its source of sustenance, yet it was thinking about how to dismantle this iron lump in its eyes.
Chen Yu had anticipated that the mischievous little dragon might damage it, so he specifically asked Tony to have jarvis make it from steel alloy, so that the little dragon would not easily destroy it.
But even though the entire feeder was made of sturdy alloy, it still couldn't withstand the little dragon's continuous biting and pulling at the outlet for liquid food, even using it daily as a tool for grinding its teeth and claws.
Sometimes it would also have a sudden whim, using wood blocks, dirt, and other things to block the food outlet.
This led to the clone having to come out again to use the Cleaning Charm and Reparo to clean and repair the feeding device.
The little dragon's temperament was like a husky's, full of whims and a love for tearing things apart.
No matter its mood, tearing things apart was always the right choice.
After waking up, it would either set fires or tear things apart, or chase the small animals in the Serenitea Pot all over the place.
It's likely that the small animals in the Serenitea Pot now deeply missed the days before the little dragon entered the Serenitea Pot.
To clean up the little dragon's mess, the clone acted like a nanny, constantly using the Cleaning Charm or Reparo in the Serenitea Pot.
The proficiency of these two skills had grown significantly.
Sometimes, when the little dragon saw Chen Yu's clone, it would even launch a sneak attack.
Taking advantage of the clone's inattention, it would go straight for the clone's rear.
If the clone hadn't been agile and quick to react, immediately using a magic shield to block its sneak attack from behind, he would have had to ask the main body to create another clone to look after the little dragon.
These were manageable, but the most frustrating moment for the clone was when he was scooping its droppings.
Chen Yu had a slight obsession with cleanliness, and although not strong, this trait was inherited by the clone.
When Norbert saw the clone behind it, preparing to scoop its droppings, it suddenly used its tail to scatter its foul droppings everywhere, creating a 'sky fairy scattering flowers' effect, a saturated attack.
If the clone hadn't used the Serenitea Pot's authority to mentally freeze the little dragon and its 'masterpiece,' he would have literally been showered in feces.
Even so, it still disgusted the clone greatly.
One could only say that raising dragons is dangerous, and scooping droppings requires caution.
Finally, the clone, unable to bear it, hung Norbert from a tree and whipped it with a branch to teach it a lesson.
As a result, Norbert felt incredibly wronged, not understanding what it had done wrong at all.
After being whipped, Norbert was a bit more obedient. The clone thought this would cure Norbert's mischievousness and its bad habit of playing with its 'stinky stuff,' but it truly forgot everything instantly.
It continued to act as it pleased, not taking the clone seriously at all.
One could only say it remembered to eat but not the beating.
After using the feeder a few times, it directly learned to squat at the feeder's location, waiting for the flowing food to come out.
However, after eating, it would continue to bite and scratch at the food outlet, as if doing so would produce more food.
As a result, all the rules the clone taught Norbert—such as defecating at a fixed spot, not arbitrarily damaging the area, not breathing fire, and so on—were completely forgotten.
The clone was so angry that he wanted to hang Norbert from the tree and whip it again.
Now, with the clone's memories absorbed, Chen Yu also felt a sense of empathy, and his gaze towards Norbert changed.
His hands were itching, wanting to apply some buffs and then give Norbert's big forehead two good punches.
However, Chen Yu did not enter the Serenitea Pot alone; he also brought Hagrid to visit Norbert.
Hagrid followed Chen Yu into the Serenitea Pot, looking at the yak-sized Norbert, his heart filled with comfort. He wanted to go and hug Norbert to relieve their 'mother-child' longing.
They had only seen each other last week, but it was as if they hadn't seen each other for a very long time.
Norbert, however, would not indulge Hagrid. Upon seeing Hagrid, it immediately abandoned a squirrel it was chasing and instead lunged at Hagrid, biting and scratching him, and even breathing fire to singe his beard.
Hagrid, being thick-skinned, didn't mind, thinking the little dragon was playing with him.
After playing with Norbert for a while, he turned and gave Chen Yu a large iron box covered with a rag, saying it was Norbert's next meal.
Chen Yu lifted the rag and saw the dense, enormous rats in the iron cage, which made him roll his eyes.
After Hagrid left, Chen Yu euthanized those rats, then scattered their ashes.
Eat rats?
That's so dirty, full of germs. It's better to let Norbert eat chickens!
After all, 'raising dragons for fun and profit' didn't say it had to eat rats.
And he wasn't short on chicken meat either.
After thoroughly absorbing the clone's memories, Chen Yu was even less inclined to personally raise the little dragon.
But he couldn't give up the temptation of raising a dragon and becoming a Dragon Rider.
Riding a dragon for a joyride, how cool would that be.
This was much cooler than the Ghost Fire youths.
It's just that when a Norwegian Ridgeback grows up, its back is covered with hard spines. If you don't prepare a saddle or something, riding Norbert after it grows up would probably really tear up your pants.
Wanting to fly on a dragon would be at least twelve months away.
Only then would the little dragon be considered out of its hatchling state and have initially learned to fly.
Chen Yu sighed again, watching Hagrid leave, then looked at Norbert, who had already started biting trees to grind its teeth, and held his head. This little thing really couldn't be left unsupervised.
So he used Images of Ikonn again, creating a clone to take over the previous clone's great task of raising the dragon.
However, clone number two immediately put on a sour face: "You raise the dragon, I'll go to school for you. No discussion. I'd rather die than raise a dragon."
Looking at the clone who didn't want to raise the dragon, Chen Yu prepared to forcefully order the clone to do so.
However, the clone directly canceled Images of Ikonn, preferring to disappear and return to the main body rather than raise this overly 'naughty' little dragon.
