Traveling Through The Heavens, I Am The Avada Sword Master

Chapter 143: How to Make the Dursleys Smile

"What's wrong, Vernon? You're so jumpy."

Petunia saw her husband throw the phone and heard a knock on the door, so she prepared to open it.

"Don't go, Petunia! The person knocking outside is a wizard!"

Vernon Dursley was a man of routine, living his entire life within his daily normalcy.

He didn't want to touch the magical world, nor did he want his peaceful life disturbed, but now someone from that world—Harley's classmate—was knocking outside.

Petunia shrieked when she heard her husband's words, then quickly covered her mouth.

Vernon Dursley was very resistant to anything related to magic, rejecting anything outside his understanding.

The first unpleasant meeting with James and his wife long ago, and James's mockery of him, made Vernon Dursley lose all goodwill towards wizards as a group.

Although he hated Harry, he also wanted to pull Harry out of the "mire," even attempting to prevent Harry from going to Hogwarts so that Harry would become a normal, "ordinary person."

But he failed; Harry not only became a wizard, but after returning from Hogwarts, Harry even transformed into Harley.

Although Harley looked more pleasing after becoming a girl, Vernon felt no joy in his heart, instead feeling even more fear towards this mysterious group of wizards.

If they could even distort and change gender, what couldn't these crazy wizards do?

Even if it was a Little Wizard claiming to be Harley's classmate, Vernon mustered the courage he had used against Hagrid.

Vernon knew a door couldn't stop a wizard; those wizards had all sorts of "tricks" to open the door.

Vernon motioned for his wife and son to hide in the bedroom, while he went to open the door.

Although Dudley was very unwilling and wanted to see what other wizards looked like, Petunia dragged him back to the bedroom.

Vernon was mentally prepared, already imagining a wizard standing at the door who was over two meters tall, with fists large enough for people to stand on, arms wide enough for horses to walk on, a burly physique, and the voice of a child—a giant King Kong Barbie wizard.

Because the last person who knocked, Hagrid, had left too deep an impression on him, he couldn't help but apply Hagrid's template to other wizards.

After opening the door fearfully, he found that standing at his doorstep was not the wizard he had imagined, dressed in strange robes and hats, but an Oriental child in a finely tailored small suit.

The huge discrepancy between his fantasy and the reality almost caused Vernon Dursley's brain to crash.

But he quickly reacted; even if the Little Wizard in front of him was wearing a luxurious-looking small suit, it didn't change the fact that he claimed to be Harley's classmate.

"I told you, there's no Harry here, and no Harley. You've got the wrong place!"

Seeing that it was indeed a child, Vernon Dursley put on a fierce expression and said menacingly, attempting to scare away the Little Wizard with his grimace.

Looking at the fierce Mr. Vernon Dursley, Chen Yu smiled slightly; perhaps Vernon Dursley's grimace could scare Ron or Hermione, but it certainly wouldn't scare Chen Yu.

Although Vernon Dursley appeared very stern, his slightly trembling legs betrayed him.

"Let me introduce myself again, Mr. Vernon Dursley. My name is Chen Yu, Harley's classmate. I'm very sure I haven't come to the wrong place. Harley Potter lives in your house, after all, you are her uncle, aren't you?"

Chen Yu was polite and calmly stated the information he knew.

Seeing Chen Yu accurately state his relationship with Harley, Vernon Dursley began to get a little nervous.

He kept trying to reassure himself that the other party was just an inexperienced brat and posed no threat to him.

"What... what... what do you want with Harley? I'll tell you honestly, you can forget about coming in. I won't let any wizard step foot through my door!"

Vernon Dursley emphatically stated his position.

I, Vernon Dursley, would rather die today, die outside, jump from the upstairs, than let a wizard enter this house one step!

"That's too bad. I originally wanted to apologize to Harley and make some compensation. In that case, I'll just have to play with these 'fireworks' by myself at the door... That's really a shame..."

Chen Yu pulled out an exquisite gift box from behind him. At first, Vernon Dursley didn't pay attention, thinking it was candy or something, until Chen Yu opened the gift box and he saw what was inside. In that instant, Vernon Dursley's soul almost dropped out of him.

Inside the gift box, neatly arranged, were six round fragmentation grenades, all with their pins inserted. Their metallic texture made them seem anything but fake.

"Oops, wrong one! My apologies, my apologies. My uncle has sent me too many toys from abroad recently, and I accidentally picked up the wrong one."

Chen Yu feigned annoyance and, with a wave of his hand, conjured another long gift box. When opened, it contained a dozen neatly arranged paper fireworks.

Vernon Dursley desperately wished he had seen wrong just now, but he knew that what the brat had pulled out earlier was no illusion.

Hearing Chen Yu mention his uncle, and to ease the awkward atmosphere, he asked curiously, "Excuse me, your uncle is..."

"Tony, Tony Stark. Maybe you haven't heard of him, which is normal. He's the US military's primary arms supplier. Those few toys I just picked up by mistake were from him. He also gave me this... it's super cool!"

Chen Yu waved his hand again, and an M61 Vulcan cannon appeared out of thin air, which Chen Yu lifted with one hand.

Looking at Chen Yu, holding a box of fireworks in one hand and a steel killing machine in the other, and hearing about his background...

At this moment, Vernon Dursley felt a tightening in his chest, incredibly nervous, and cold sweat streamed down his face.

No matter how hard he wiped, sweat still poured from his forehead.

Vernon Dursley didn't know much about the wizarding world, but he understood the concept of an arms dealer.

Even if Chen Yu was exaggerating and his so-called uncle wasn't a major arms dealer, even a small arms dealer was not someone he could afford to provoke.

He was just a manager at a drilling company, didn't know any politicians, and had no connection to the military whatsoever. A small gang could deal with him, let alone a higher-level arms dealer.

Moreover, he couldn't discern if what this Little Wizard was saying was true or false, but seeing Chen Yu holding the Vulcan cannon with one hand, he felt it was better to take him seriously.

Considering his own physical strength, and then seeing Chen Yu's one-handed handling of the Vulcan cannon, for the safety of himself and his family, it wasn't so bad to be a little cowardly.

"Uh... Chen Yu... Mr. Chen Yu, you're here to see Harley, right? Harley's in the second bedroom. I'll call her right over..."

"Mr. Chen Yu, can we discuss something? Please put away the 'fireworks'? It's not good for the neighbors' hearts to see them..."

"Look at my memory, how could I let you stand outside? Come in, come in and sit. I'll go call Harley out now."

Vernon Dursley wiped his sweat while leading Chen Yu into the house. His attitude at this point had done a complete 180-degree turn from before; his demeanor was incredibly good.

See? This is the benefit of a show of force. No matter how unwilling Vernon Dursley was, no matter how much he thought all wizards were crazy, he still had to communicate with him calmly.

"Harley! Harley! Come out quickly, your classmate is here to play!"

He even wore a smile and actively helped him call out Harley Potter.
